Additives are a primary manufacturing cost in compressor lubricants, which is why most manufacturers limit the quantity in an effort to increase profits by reducing product-manufacturing cost. Complete maintains product quality with up to three times the expensive additives as our competition without increased product cost to the consumer.

Our product superiority is supported by laboratory testing results and practical field experience. A Complete customer operated a standard compressor in the hot and humid ambient conditions of South Carolina for 13,000 hours. A product sample was removed and tested under ASTM D974 and had a TAN of 0.2 (Total acid number). The industry standard for replacing a lubricant is a product with a TAN of 1.0 or higher.
